It was built with 24 tons of scrap steel from the World Trade Center
It is the fifth in a new class of warship – designed for missions that include special operations against terrorists. It will carry a crew of 360 sailors and 700 combat-ready Marines to be delivered ashore by helicopters and assault craft.
Steel from the World Trade Center was melted down in a foundry in Amite , LA to cast the ship’s bow section. When it was poured into the molds on Sept. 9, 2003, “those big rough steelworkers treated it with total reverence,” recalled Navy Capt. Kevin Wensing, who was there. “It was a spiritual moment for everybody there”
Junior Chavers, foundry operations manager, said that when the trade center steel first arrived, he touched it with his hand and the “hair on my neck stood up.” “It had a big meaning to it for all of us,” he said. “They knocked us down. They can’t keep us down. We’re going to be back.”
The ship’s motto? “Never Forget”

Wow.
Once you begin to see what’s REALLY going on… You see that it’s SO appropriate…
That we took the steel — which had all MAGICALLY MELTED into molten steel — from both towers ~AND~ Tower 7 (which was never even hit by a plane! yet the entire steel structure melted completely into molten steel!) — on 9-11, and made it into a War Ship.
So appropriate. So ironic. So wrong.
But it all falls in to the master plan of the Illuminati (on Google) — the plan for Never Ending War, until we have the tyranny of a One World Government dictatorship… ruling the entire planet… just as Mao Tse-tung rules China.
Fire does not melt 110 stories of steel structure. Even jet fuel does not get HALF as hot as the temperature it takes to MELT steel. All — 100% — of the steel structure of Tower 7 melted into liquid molten steel, yet it was never even hit by a plane. It only had a couple small isolated fires.
It would seem that Sigfried & Roy must have pulled this trick off. Or maybe some men with even a few more connections than them… (as, it is well known that, only a very few, very rare, military explosives can melt steel like that)

dude learn some physics, The steel wouldn’t need to melt a those temperatures for the buildings to fall down. At high temperatures steel will loose most of it strengths. The tower 7 just couldn’t withstand millions of tons of concrete and steel coming down on it

That’s total nonsense. You should investigate the facts.
ALL of the steel from the entire structure — of Towers 1, 2, and 7 — were melted into liquid — molten steel.
The steel was still liquid molten steel for WEEKS after 9/11… according to many many eye witnesses among the rescue workers at ground zero.
Also, NO concrete nor steel fell onto Tower 7. NO plane hit Tower 7. There were only a couple tiny isolated fires.
Then, suddenly, BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM… And the entire building was demolished… And the entire steel structure of it was turned into LIQUID MOLTEN STEEL.
Check your facts.

Bruce quit being a tool. The steel was not molten. You’re right, even fire from jet fuel cannot become hot enough to melt steel. But the steel didn’t need to be melted for the towers to fall. All the fires had to do was soften the steel. Its like spaghetti. When its uncooked it is stiff, but when cooked it gets soft. I realize the building was not made of spaghetti but the same principles apply. Bruce, you have been watching way too many of the conspiracy theory videos on 9/11. I’ve seen a few as well but I’ve also watched many videos that counter the conspiracy claims. Never was there any statement about molten steel. Fire softened, yes, molten, no. If you’re gonna watch all these videos about conspiracy theories you need to also watch the videos that counter them. You obviously have not so you are uneducated about it. Get YOUR facts straight before you spout nonsense.
You seem like the person that wears a hat made from aluminum foil so the government can’t control your brain. The government IS out to get YOU!

Bruce steel doesn’t remain molten for weeks at the time unless you continuously provided it with heat. The only other way is if you forge your steel in a nuclear fusion reaction which is beyond our technology at the moment. And a nuclear fusion reaction would have leveled new york. Also Tower 7 was only a couple hundred feet away from the world trade towers their only the best controlled demolitions could have felled a tower without hurting its neighbors like that. If tower 7 did survive then I would have been suspicious. Also explosives don’t bring down buildings (even steel and concrete ones) due to heat they bring them down with kinetic energy from the blast.

Some of you guys REALLY need to check YOUR facts.
There are countless eye-witness reports from first responders and rescue workers that say that the boots were melting off of their feet. They SAW the liquid molten steel in the ground.
If the steel turned to “spaghetti”, then what happened to at that — 100 stories of — “spaghetti”…?
It was LIQUID MOLTEN steel. In the ground. Every witness agrees.
Some of you guys are just repeating what you heard on the corporate-controlled news media. Yes, that is the “official” party line. Unfortunately, it is false. Full of lies.
EVERYONE AGREES on one thing: The 9-11 WTC attack WAS a conspiracy. It was a mass murder. The main thing we may disagree on is: WHO did it.
It was not Osama, that’s for sure.

Why Doubt 9/11?
As the founder of Scholars for 9/11 Truth, I would observe that our members, building on prior research by earlier students of 9/11, have established more than a dozen disproofs of the official government account, the truth of any one of which is enough to show that the government’s account–in one or another of its guises–cannot possibly be correct.
Overview of 9/11 Research
1. The impact of the planes cannot have caused enough damage to bring the buildings down, since the buildings were designed to withstand them (as Frank DeMartini, the project manager, has observed), the planes that hit were very similar to those they were designed to withstand, and they continued to stand after those impacts with negligible effects.
2. The melting point of steel at 2,800*F is about 1,000*F higher than the maximum burning temperature of jet-fuel-based fires, which do not exceed 1,800*F under optimal conditions, so the fires cannot have caused the steel to melt, which means that melting steel did not bring the buildings down.
3. UL certified the steel in the buildings up to 2,000*F for three or four hours before it would even significantly weaken, where these fires burned too low and too briefly at an average temperature of around 500*F–about one hour in the South Tower and one and a half in the North–to have even caused the steel to weaken, much less melt.
4. If the steel had melted or weakened, the affected floors would have displayed completely different behavior, with some asymmetrical sagging and tilting, which would have been gradual and slow, not the complete, abrupt, and total demolition that was observed.
5. William Rodriguez, the senior custodian in the North Tower and the last man to leave the building, has reported massive explosions in the subbasements that effected extensive destruction, including the demolition of a 50-ton hydraulic press and ripping the skin off a fellow worker, a report corroborated by the testimony of around three dozen other custodians.
6. Willie reported that the explosion occurred prior to the airplane’s impact, a claim that has now been substantiated in a new study by Craig Furlong and Gordon Ross, “Seismic Proof: 9/11 was an Inside Job”, which demonstrates that these explosions actually took place as much as 14 and 17 seconds prior to the airplanes impacts.
7. Heavy steel construction buildings like the Twin Towers, built with more than 100,000 tons of steel, are not even capable of “pancake collapse”, which normally only occurs with concrete structures of “lift slab” construction and could not occur in “redundant” welded-steel buildings, such as the towers, unless every supporting column were removed at the same time, as Charles Pegelow, a structural engineer, has pointed out to me.
8. The destruction of the Twin Towers in approximately 10 seconds apiece is about the same speed as free fall with only air resistance, which, as Judy Wood, a former professor of mechanical engineering, has emphasized, is an astounding result that would have been impossible without an extremely powerful source of energy far beyond plane crashes, jet-fuel based fires, and “pancake” collapses.
9. The towers are exploding from the top, not collapsing to the ground, where the floors do not move, a phenomenon that Judy Wood has likened to two gigantic trees turning to sawdust from the top down, which, like the pulverization of the concrete, the official account cannot possibly explain.
10. WTC-7 came down in a classic controlled demolition at 5:20 PM/ET after Larry Silverstein suggested the best thing to do might be to “pull it”, displaying all the characteristics of classic controlled demolitions, including a complete, abrupt, and total collapse into its own footprint, where the floors are all falling at the same time, and so forth, an event so embarrassing to the official account that it is not even mentioned in THE 9/11 COMMISSION REPORT.
11. The hit point at the Pentagon was too small to accommodate a 100-ton airliner with a 125-foot wingspan and a tail that stands 44 feet above the ground; the kind and quantity of debris was wrong for a Boeing 757: no wings, no fuselage, no seats, no bodies, no luggage, no tail! Which means that the building was not hit by a Boeing 757!
12. The Pentagon’s own videotape does not show a Boeing 757 hitting the building, as even Bill O’Reilly admitted when it was shown on “The Factor”; but at 155 feet, the plane was more than twice as long as the 77-foot Pentagon is high and should have been present and visible; it was not, which means that the building was not hit by a Boeing 757!
13. Pilots for 9/11 Truth have analyzed black box data allegedly from the Pentagon plane and discovered that it contradicts the official account in direction, approach, and altitude: it was 300 feet too high to have taken out the lampposts and 100 feet too high to have hit the building itself.
14. The aerodynamics of flight would have made the official trajectory–flying at high speed barely above ground level–physically impossible; and if it had come it at an angle instead, it would have created a massive crater; but there is no crater and the government has no way out, which means that the building was not hit by a Boeing 757!
15. If Flight 93 had come down as advertised, then there would have been a debris field of about a city block in size, but in fact the debris is distributed over an area of about eight square miles, which would be explainable if the plane had been shot down in the air but not if it had crashed as required by the government’s official scenario.
There are more, especially about the alleged hijackers, including that they were not competent to fly the planes; their names were not on any passenger manifest; they were not subject to any autopsy; several have turned up alive and well; the cell phone calls appear to have been impossible; on and on. There are some misunderstandings in the first several comments, but I applaud this discussion happening.
The molten metal observed by many different parties in the sub-basements of the three WT buildings that came down on 9/11 is NOT STEEL.
The most probable composition is in fact IRON, which is a by-product of thermite, an agent that turns iron oxide and aluminum in a powdered for, at extremely high temperatures, to molten iron and aluminum oxide “smoke.”
Thermite can be used to melt steel, or, more likely in the case of the WTC events, heat-weaken steel as Paul Bouvet has shown (www.maxphoton.com). The presence of thermite is indicative of a controlled demolition masquerading as a crash and jet fuel/office contents fire-induced collapse.
Analysis by Steven Jones and others (www.journalof811studies.com) of the dust collected in the wake of the WT collapses reveals alumino-ferric microspherules which are the signature of thermite. The implications are stark and too few are following this. A great fraud has been committed. 9/11 was an inside job to precipitate excuses for war, first in Afghanistan and then in Iraq.
Without 9/11, those wars would never have been possible.

hey bruce your wrong the steel structure of towers 1 and 2 weren’t fully metled as you seem to belieave further more the steel did melt because of the jet fuel ignighting in the shafts for the elevators were most of the steel structures strength is. also when the buildings gave way it was due to structure weakness of the floors that were hit. the reason for there still being molten steel under the rubble is simple, there’s enough material in a building that size to keep burning for months and there were only 2 or 4 pockets of molten steel and they were not that big. also when the buildings came down rubble from both buildings hit number 7 IDK if you’ve ever been to the big apple but number 7 is right next to where the wtc’s use to be. and I think personaly that turning the scrap metal into a war ship is perfect idea.
