Yeah!!
Well, Ed is back from Mardi Gras in New Orleans. We very rarely take fun trips apart. It seems like we’re ALWAYS together… But this time he went with some friends, and he had a fantastic time… And I figured, sometimes I can just use some time alone… just to sort of get centered again…
Also… Now that I have finished work on the web sites… I have shifted all of my attention to producing the shows.
So, today we took on… doing, what I call, “the three-camera test”.
I wanted to just do a simple test run-through… running all three cameras simultaneously, and see if it works the way I hoped it would. …checking the audio… and seeing how much camera work we would need, in order to make it look right. And how much post-production editing work we’ll need too.
Well, we did it!
I think it’s going to look great. At least pretty darn good for a version 1.00 of a homemade show…
We’ve sort of decided to start out by kicking off the daily “unscripted, unrehearsed, unedited” informal daily chat show… (“Bruce and Ed Live fom New York”) which is supposed to be almost a reality show… sort of like “breakfast with Bruce and Ed”… where we simply yak about what’s going on in the news… and in our lives… the weather… and global trends… and whatever pops into our minds.
We expect it to be a MUCH smaller audience than the production shows, and we’re not really going to promote it. We’re only going to be promoting the production shows (“The Bruce Wagner Show” and “El Show de Edward Gel”)…
We figure… starting out with that one will give us the daily practice we need… So that when the time comes that we’re interviewing a Big Name Celebrity… for the production shows… It’ll all be old hat. We’ll be able to do everything like real pros… and not totally humilliate ourselves…
